As you may remember in October 2005 Southwestern New Hampshire was hit
with severe flooding. Although we do not live in the area of New Hampshire
affected by that flood our basement did take in water from the heavy rains in
our area. That was the 5th time our basement had taken in water in about 15
years. It was then that my wife and I decided we did not want to go through
another spring with the worry associated with the potential of water in our
basement again. Not to mention the work involved with the same.
In January of 2006 Tri-State Basement Systems installed a water proofing
solution for our home. Your sales and installation staff were very
knowledgeable and the work was completed as described and expected. The
dampness and odor in our basement was gone and we were very pleased.
Our biggest surprise occurred this past weekend. The area we live in was
inundated with more than 12 inches of rain in a 48 hour period. The
surrounding area was flooding and local streams and ponds overflowed their
banks. The water behind out house was the highest I have ever witnessed in
the time we have lived here. People that we know had water in their basements for the first time that previously had dry basements. The amazing
part is that our basement stayed dry and showed no signs of dampness. My
wife and I could not believe how well the system worked, and believe me it
worked very hard.
We cannot express how pleased we are with the system Tri-State installed in
our home. We now have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that our
basement will stay dry during periods of extreme weather. Please extend our
sincere appreciation and gratitude to your staff for their efforts. |

It was a bumpy road and congratulations are due to you. You may have
recently heard about the rain and flooding in Southern NH and in particular
Durham. I am delighted to report that I did not have any water in my
basement during the 9-10 days of mostly torrential rains and flooding. I also
finally heard the sump pump that you installed working...in fact it worked quite
hard for the better part of that time period.
Thank you for coming back and installing the additional cross-section in early
March as I am sure that made a huge difference. While most of my neighbors
were pumping water out of their basements after the storms I did not even
have excessive moisture or humidity. I am delighted. |
